Trip to Nördlingen 2025

A trip to Nördlingen 2025 as an Attack on Titan fan for 8+ years.

Bodybuilding back pose

Bodybuilding since 2024. Earning every angle, slowly.

A creator at heart

For about ten years I've built through immigration, going over language barriers, burnout, and starting over. I try to stay honest and direct. I like untangling messy systems so the product feels simpler for real people. I'm not chasing titles; I'm chasing work that still feels worth it years later.

Off the clock, I get just as intense about the stories I love. I'm a die-hard Attack on Titan fan: it's the language I use for growth, resilience, and choosing what matters when everything is loud. I've written long posts, lost forum threads, and still draw my favorite ships.

Lately I'm deep in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, mostly for Maelle. Her arc is vulnerable, fierce, and weirdly good fuel when I'm building.

2025 — now

Zesty · Restaurant discovery from the ground up

I helped shape DoorDash's Zesty app, then started shipping code to prototype faster and tighten quality with the team.

2022 — 2026

DoorDash · Turning messy problems into shippable work

I worked on the Dasher homescreen direction, built reusable patterns, and shipped updates that made day-to-day work clearer and faster for Dashers.

2019 — 2022

Zeplin · First design hire in a fast-growing team

I joined as Zeplin's first designer and shipped product features while also shaping launches, websites, campaigns, and brand moments.

2017 — 2019

Intuit · Making tax season a little less painful

After a visa detour in Australia, I moved to the US team and designed tools to help self-employed people file faster and keep more of what they earned.

Personal arc

Four Chars · Illustrations for Chinese idioms

A side project about chengyu that grew past 10k on Instagram, with drawings and captions aimed at humor and tone instead of textbook glosses.
